suckmy12inchUm, let's see... I was gonna make some sort of post about what's going on with me at the moment, I've not done that in forever.
Well, first of all, school's coming to a close. Two more days until the holidays and exams when we get back. Sob. Maths I'm feeling pretty good about, I know if I revise enough I can get a good grade. Chemistry I'm not so confident on. Latin and Greek have exams in summer, so that's quite a way off right now. And in any case, I'm very confident about those two, even at this stage. I guess I should be thinking about my coursework for Greek soon, actually. Something about Athenian democracy, hopefully, though I have a couple plays by Aristophanes I intend to read. And Latin's Latin, still comes easily to me.
No offers from any unis as yet, but I've applied to places that prefer to get all their applications in before making any decisions.
Umm.
Kat's not gonna be online for a month. Fuck.
I better get cards sent off soon before it's too late, haha. Er, what else... driving's going okay, I guess. RPing's being pretty amazing, this DDD high school virus is killing me - Excalibur is now a running joke in everyone's posts. Dunno what to do with Adachi. He needs to be more active in Mayfield anyway but I'm working on that. DDD!Adachi is in the TV... Wesker's got something planned for New Year's Day. Aizen's just being really quiet AS USUAL ugh. We need to move through canon so that he can start taking the initiative more. Hopefully sending these Arrancar will get him doing a bit more. Apollo's settling in well too! I was so nervous about playing him but I think I've clicked with him and it's going well thus far.
Mmmmm, and I suppose I'm trying to speak my mind a bit more, especially online. I think I do it well enough IRL. Other than with my parents, bleh. I feel like such a pushover online sometimes, lmao, I'm too nice. An anon gave me crit on Wesker, saying that it was like I make excuses for him to lose, and just because he's a villain doesn't mean he always needs to. So, gotta figure out a way to make that happen. Because they're right, he's enough of a maniulative bsatard to get away with some of the stuff he pulls. We'll see.
Er... oh, played the Bayonetta demo. That was a lot of fun, more than I expected. It's like what DMC4 should have been - but with a really hot woman instead of Dante, and she is hot. I'm just wondeirng if my brother should be allowed to play when I get it. Though he has already seen me play the demo so he saw her, er, climax moves.
I sort of think that's it.

Date: 2009-12-17 02:20 am (UTC)Since this virus is fucking insane but AHAHAHA Ggio's already gotten himself into shenanigans such as acting as a diversion so that the soccer team could set off a frosting bomb in Rukia's office (it was supposed to be Byakuya's) and getting detention which he HAD ANYWAY but getting a note so he could go to martial arts practice AND HE LEFT EARLY WHEN JIN DID because he wanted quality time with Ichigo but Nabiki is blackmailing them into idk what and he's trying to get a cheerleader outfit for his own reasons and yeah. :U
D-daddy may need to have a word with a counselor or his 'son' or something.
Also Bayonetta, holy shit. I'll need to play the demo again but omg, I look forward to seeing more of dat ass.

XD I'm glad that it's looking like it'll have a cast as big as DMC4's or maybe bigger. And I'm hoping the difficultly is on par with DMC3. \o/

I must have done something wrong). Yeah I heard DMC4 was watered down, I've only played the first mission and lol in-game tutorial. B| I'd very much love the adrenaline rush and asskickery of DMC3 back kthx.

HAHA THAT TUTORIAL WAS SO HILARIOUS and just - that whole beginning, what the fuck. I wonder if I even have the patience to play through Nero's story so I can get to Dante, even if it'll be weird seeing the latter pull some of his DMC3 moves now that he's olllllllld.

Date: 2009-12-17 09:09 pm (UTC)I'm not too sure XDD I never really noticed how many guns she used, to be honest. The beginning was so lulzy, seriously. Playing as Nero isn't too bad though, even if it's not as much of a challenge as DMC3 was. His Devil Bringer is a nice new element to the gameplay. Playing as Dante's awesome too, it's great fun switching styles on the go. He's such a powerhouse! But it makes you backtrack so much, it's painful.

I heard that some ability of Nero's can be used to like, make him a bit of a godmode or something (I think it has to do with revving the Red Queen?). And I so don't look forward to that backtracking. Oh, the revving is FUN, if you time it right, he revs it all the way and just blasts everything, but you gotta get it just right. The backtracking is painful but not quite as painful as the dice game :|
Adachi has many delicious icons. Keeping up with this virus is pretty tough, I have to say.
