I miss Photoshop

suckmy12inchI do indeed. The PC that has it broke, so I use my dad's laptop for general internet stuff and an old Windows 98 thing on this ancient contraption to play games on. Gotta say it is nice to have Populous back. I'm gonna make a cut here. Because I can. NYA NYA. (How many people read this these days anyhow? Two? Aw well, I'll post for their benefit!)
It was funny earlier, I was getting incredibly pissed because I'd been playing DMC4 for about half an hour while my family went out and as soon as they were back, Dad was making snide comments (often along the lines of: "Blast off? Wow, that guy sounds incredibly gay." Me: "Thanks dad, go ahead and teach your son that everything bad is gay. And this is DANTE here, he ain't gay. Not in the way you think anyways." Obviously I never say that last bit out loud.) Oh, er, what was I saying... oh yes, snide comments, so I tend to switch off the PS3 at this point. Joseph then snatches the controller and starts playing CoD4, or lately Warhawk. I really wish I hadn't told my brother and dad that you can play games online, then maybe they wouldn't monopolise the console so damn much.
So I was getting annoyed and stomped upstairs where the PS2 resides. Thing is, I can't play KH, FF12 or Beyond Good and Evil because I have to use the PS1 controller and they don't like that controller. While I was irritably considering what to do, I realised that my life is really pretty damn good if the only thing I can get depressed over is the fact that I can't get a decent go on the PS3. I mean, I could have a dying grandparent or I could be deaf or something else that would warrant proper sadness. I cheered up then and rather than angst I went off and listened to Gackt. Vanilla by him amuses me greatly. I love the music video. What's up with all the funny arm movements? (Actually, I might try learning them somehow though as far as I can see, if you just imitate a hyper octopus, you're pretty much there.)
Oh I'm in the middle of exams now. That could be another thing to be depressed over but actually I haven't had any problems with any. Yet. Considering I've only done five, I better not count my chickens, or my grades, eh? Latin was fun though. And PE theory. Oh and Citizenship. Three of my friends decided to get "I'm the only gay eskimo" song, cheese, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer into the Citizenship exam. Needless to say, I was too busy earning my A* and generally being cynical about the government to go along with it, but they managed it. Somehow. But I fully intend to get DMC into my French writing exam, I have done so for the past 2 years, no reason why I can't for the real thing. I'll also see where else I can slip it in... it'd be too perfect if one of the English tasks is:
Video games cause violence. Discuss.
My answer: FK U N00B THAY DNT CAUSE VILANCE OR BD GRAMMER AND SPELIN. IM TOTALY CALM LOLWTFWUTBBQ.
...you know what, I'd love an opportunity to get text talk into an exam. And a chance to call people noobs. (I was tempted in my French oral, in response to the question 'What do you do in your free time?', to answer 'I stalk examiners and eat them for breakfast.')
OMG AND NOW I AM SUPER EXCITED ABOUT LONDON EXPO NEXT WEEKEND! I'm cosplaying Lady anddantes_girlis going as Trish. We're gonna look awesome dudes. I need my hair cut but other than that, everything is set to go. There's all sorts going on: Cosplay Rave, a Caramelldansen video, I think also a Rockstar video... it's going to be manic. Hopefully I'll have a bit of cash with which to buy cool things. I'm determind to get Urahara's hat. Unless there's better stuff. I'll have to get pictures... (note to self: borrow mum's camera.)

DMC cannot be good for you in this concentration. Nor can cosplaying, you over-enthusiastic person who watches far too much anime and cutscenes for her own good.
