Devil May Cry 3. Most of my save files on that game have ridiculous amounts of hours spent on them. And Resident Evil 5 as well, probably, considering how many times I've completed it with various people, I MUST have beaten it more than five times.

Because I was such a pussy at Silent Hill, Resident Evil freaks me out at the idea of trying to play it, though I did see Code Veronica played out some on a Dreamcast. Mostly the idea of some dude randomly jumping out of walls at me while playing is what gets me.

But man, I am totally glad you posted this. I could never play Devil May Cry because it was uber-expensive, but I checked again because of this post and it looks like that's changed. so buying nao kthnx

Silent Hill is WAY FREAKIER THAN RESIDENT EVIL and I speak as someone who's played most of the RE games, and SH2 and 3. RE tends to rely on jump scares more than anything else and isn't all that bad. Still, not for everyone!

And HELL YEAH I feel I've done my job if someone else is gonna be playing DMC~!

That does sound a little better. The only jump the first Silent Hill depends on is a cat jumping out of a locker. XD Though that scene is freaky as hell because it's in the school and after the cat jumps you, a bunch of ghosts of kids start stalking you. And you can't attack them to make them stop following you. D:

Ffffffff I haven't played that one (I've only played Shattered Memories which isn't scary at all...) but I know that would've freaked me the hell out, sob.
