Dec. 6th, 2010 10:27 pm...I've been a bit scarce on here, haven't I? Oops. I still have that video game meme to be doing.
Day 21 - Game with the best story.
Oh, bloody hell, I've played so many games with great stories... Resident Evil is NOT included in this, lmfao, as Yahtzee says, "Capcom makes storylines the way a dishwasher makes potato salad."
So, hm. Contenders include: Okami, Shadow of Memories, Persona 3 and 4, Fahrenheit, ICO, Shadow of the Colossus... Metal Gear Solid is kind of a mess but I'll let it sneak in too. ICO and SotC have lovely... plots, but they're not quite... stories, as such? I dunno. Okami's is lovely and sprawling and wraps most things up very well. Shadow of Memories is a bit of a clusterfuck at times but it's deceptively simple and I like how intricate it actually is. P3 and P4 kind of are... opposites of each other in the story they tell, I guess, but I'm too tired to go into great detail about that now.
