LMAO sorry for the long comment, I just found your meme answser interesting

I don't HATE Lady but I've never gotten what's the big deal about her/liked her very much. I think the best way to explain why is that a friend of mine, who likes DMC but had never played 2 or 3, but knew about the characters (vaugely), assumed for YEARS that Lady was a demon. When I told him 'no, no, she's just a human.' he went "WHAT?! That's ridiculous Mary Sue bullshit then."

I'm kinda inclined to agree with him. There's nothing wrong with a human being awesome, and normally I'd be all for that, but when with zero visible effort she can more or less match Dante's level of Crazy, and it's not really remarked upon or explained...it just makes *Dante* feel cheap. Because it's like 'oh, he's not actually that amazing because this random chick can totally do all the same stuff. It's not a big deal.'

Also I really hate her skanky Catholic Schoolgirl Outfit. If she's supposed to be driven by anger and revenge you'd think she'd wear something more in line with her personality and motivations, not Lololol Fanservice Psudo Slutty Schoolgirl Outfit.

Hell, Dante, even though he isn't wearing a shirt, is MORE protected by that heavy jacket of his than she is by her clothes. And he doesn't NEED to be protected since he regenerates. Lady's outfit could be ripped apart by a stiff wind. So basically the fact that it stays on her implies she's NEVER BEEN HIT IN A FIGHT ever. And that's just even more Mary Sue ridiculous.

Sorry for bitching about her but she just drives me crazy.

Also do you seriously find Ashley more annoying than Steve? I mean, Ashley has a few idiotic moments, yeah, but I never EXPECTED anything from her. She's a screamy damsel in distress who's been kidnapped by a creepy, rapey cult. I wouldn't expect her to deal any better or worse than she does in the game....
Steve on the other hand I found to be unbelievably annoying, since he's been in Umbrella's secret torture prison for X amount of years and had his family killed and instead of being kind of dead inside, or mean, or jaded or whatever, he spends 99% of the game acting like a 14 year old brat who's parents are out of town and he totally wants to score with some chiiiicks.

Granted, Steve has his character development moments, but I found them to be so melodramatic and dumb that I was laughing instead of being moved.

I'll also add that when Steve isn't being shipped with Claire I don't mind him so much, because then he basically becomes a Sherry that can shoot a gun, and that's certainly more convenient for gameplay...

Also I'm mostly bugged by Ada because she's written terribly, like, the games like to keep her SO VAUGE and SO MYSTERIOUS that she becomes like a joke. I figure we're supposed to take her seriously but that's really hard to do sometimes.... But yeah I agree with you. Wesker has a freaking satellite.
