Well, since I stuck this on the DDD voice meme, figure I can put it here too if anyone particularly wanted to hear me talk?

Also I have a couple T-1000 icons now. So happy.

AND I've gotten fed up with locking everything. So some stuff will be flocked but I think generally it'll be open.

And I miss Kat. /whines

He was my fave Terminator, yes, even over Arnie's in the other films. He was so menacing without being physically imposing, plus I loved his 'personality'. Bad. Ass. I liked him better than the T-X even.

I've only ever seen the second film - well, that and Salvation which was... eh. And yeah, he was scary without being all "RAAAAHHH" about it.

That and I fully believe he'd have made a great Wesker.

You know, I second that notion. Patrick definitely would have made a great human Wesker. Just look at some of his shots as the biker with the glasses, it's completely there.

Aww, that icon!! 'Course, I'd have taken almost anyone over whoever it was in the RE movie /sigh

Haha, now that is when you KNOW you are scraping the bottom of the barrel.

And yes, I'm a 'Doctor' fan too. ^^

Definitely. I wonder where on earth they found that guy...

You have some amazing icons, lmao. I only got into Doctor Who because my brother forced me to sit and watch it, I think the first episode I saw was when Nine met the Slitheen.

Thanks. ^^ I've always been a fan ever since the earlier series back in the 80's. And weren't the Slitheen TOTALLY cute in a totally ugly way, even farting? :p

My mum used to tell me about it all the time! And, haha, they kinda were. I liked that one... pretending to be the mayor, I think?

And looking at the keywords for that icon, The Stand as in the ridiculously long yet awesome novel by Stephen King?

Hehe, the mayor one was the only one I truly remember when I think 'Slitheen'. I take it you also dig The Master? Who doesn't dig The Master? He's adorable even though he's completely insane.

And that would be right. One of his finest works. I don't think he could ever write another story that long now considering the works he does now seem to have been written by a different guy.

Yep, I definitely dig the Master! Though... ooh, did you catch the latest special with the water monster things?

Yeah, his latest stuff's been such a disappointment. Cell left me sort of going, "...That's the end?" and I couldn't get through Lisey's Story. Then again, I've seen a new one by him called The Dome, I think, which looks pretty lengthy.

No, I haven't, but I've heard tell Simm may return in the same role in future episodes. I'm not sure if that is true, but I hope it is. He's the Darth Vader to The Doctor's Luke Skywalker- they're nemeses. Three episodes wasn't enough to enjoy the dynamic between them.

I have only read 'Cell' lately and it felt somewhat like 'The Mist' that he did for 'Skeleton Crew' (yes, the one that the movie was adapted from). I wish he would go back to his roots, those same ones that kept us on the edge of our seats.

And I have completely hijacked your journal. Sorry.

Yeah, he appeared in the preview for the next one with terrible hair. Definitely looking forward to it though!

I've not read The Mist, I've heard about the film though. Yeah, his old stuff always worked best.

XD I don't mind at all!

Oh, please do. It's got 'Cell's same sort of ambiguous ending, but it flows better. Do you read Dean Koontz as well?

And feel free to say 'no', but may I friend you?

I've never read anything by Dean Koontz, actually. Maybe I ought to give him a try?

Go right ahead!

People have said he is a 'poor man's Stephen King'. While it does seem sometimes he is aping some of King's style, he has turned out some compelling books, the best of them being 'Intensity', which was the very first I read. I highly recommend it because the villain is definitely a piece of work/shit.

I apparently have a thing for villains who are a piece of work, I'll have to see if I can find that somewhere.
